Adjusting the headset volume on your Xbox is easy. To adjust your Xbox headset volume:
- Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
- Select the audio & music icon at the bottom of the guide.
You can adjust the following headset settings in the audio & music section:
- Headset volume: You can also adjust the volume by rotating the dial on the outside of the right earcup on the headset.
- Headset chat mixer: This allows you to adjust the game audio and chat audio. Move the slider to the left to increase the game audio, or move the slider to the right side to increase the chat audio. If you move the slider all the way to the left or right, it will mute chat or game audio.
- Mic monitoring: Mic monitoring lets you control how much of your voice you’ll hear during gameplay. Move the slider to the left to reduce how much of your voice you hear or move it to the right to hear your voice more clearly. Moving the slider all the way to the left will eliminate your mic input from your headset audio.
