The T-55AM-1 is a modernized version of the base T-55 developed in the mid-1980s, featuring a wealth of upgrades. The primary modification is increased armor on the hull and turret, offering greater protection against both kinetic and chemical projectiles. Due to the increased weight, the AM-1 is fitted with a new engine with an extra 110 horsepower for a total of 690. Alongside the loadout of APHE, HEAT-FS, Sabot, Smoke, and APFSDS, the AM-1 can fire a barrel-launched ATGM that can penetrate 600mm of armor! Helping even further is the addition of a laser rangefinder, drastically speeding up targeting at long range. It also features a set of smoke grenades, which can save you in tricky engagements. The T-55AM-1 is a very well-rounded MBT, one that allows you to comfortably snipe and brawl effectively, making the AM-1 versatile and, importantly, reliable. All premium vehicles allow you to earn increased Research Points and Silver Lions for each battle and comes furnished with all available modifications. With a Premium account (also purchasable in the game for Golden Eagles) you will earn more Research Points and Silver Lions during each battle for a set amount of days. This is cumulative with bonuses from premium vehicles!
